Window cleaning · Pasadena, CA

Pasadena window cleaning, inside and out, with pure water.

Most streaks come from minerals left in the wash, not from the glass. We clean the outside with deionized water and a soft brush, do the inside by hand, and put the screens back so the whole window is actually finished.

What's included

Pure water outside. A squeegee inside. Screens and sills every time.

For exteriors we use deionized water, minerals filtered out, fed through a pole with a soft boar's-hair brush. It scrubs the glass, rinses clean, and dries without a chemical film, and it stays off the paint more than a soaked traditional wash. Inside is done by hand: squeegee, clean towels, and the corners and sills that only show once they're done.

  • Interior and exterior glass on every job
  • Sills wiped, not skipped
  • Screens removed, cleaned, and put back one at a time
  • Hard-water stain removal and track cleaning as add-ons

Second stories

Upper windows, cleaned from the ground.

A water-fed pole reaches a second-story window from the lawn, so most upper glass gets done without a ladder against your house. Second-story exteriors are ordinary work for us, not a special request. One customer's building had refused to touch her second-floor windows for over a year; we fit her in and detailed them the same week.

“He did an excellent job accessing and detailing the windows. I am so satisfied with how it looks.”

Older homes, and how often

Hundred-year-old windows deserve a gentler touch.

A lot of our work is in Pasadena's older neighborhoods, including Bungalow Heaven, Historic Highlands, Garfield Heights, and Madison Heights. Original glass, original wood, decades of paint. We don't use anything that would strip that paint. The pure-water brush barely has to touch a fragile frame, and the old wood screens, which aren't made anymore, come off and go back one at a time instead of in a pile on the lawn.

How often is up to the house. Most homes around here do well every 6 to 12 months. Dustier spots, or anywhere the sprinklers hit the glass, stay sharper on a 3-month rhythm. Some people have us out monthly because they want the view perfect year-round. Look out the window and trust that.

Booking a fall or spring visit? Pair it with a gutter cleaning, so the leaves are out before the rain and the runoff doesn't streak your freshly cleaned glass.

More questions on the FAQ page

What does a window cleaning include?

Interior and exterior glass, the sills, and the screens. Screens come off, get cleaned, and go back on one at a time. Track cleaning and hard-water stain removal are add-ons we quote separately.

How do you clean second-story windows?

Mostly from the ground. A water-fed pole carries deionized water up to the glass and a soft brush does the scrubbing, so upper windows do not need a ladder against your house. We only bring out a ladder when a window genuinely needs one.

How often should windows be cleaned in Pasadena?

Most homes here do well every 6 to 12 months. Dustier spots, or anywhere sprinklers hit the glass, stay sharper on a 3-month rhythm, and some people have us out monthly. Look out the window and trust that.

Is pure water safe on older wood frames and paint?

Yes. Pure water carries no chemicals, so there is nothing to strip old paint. The brush barely has to touch a fragile frame, which is why a lot of our work is on Pasadena homes close to a hundred years old.

Can you remove hard-water stains?

Usually, yes. Mineral spots that have started to etch into the glass need a separate treatment, so we look at the glass first and quote it as an add-on rather than guessing.

How is the price worked out?

Every quote is individual. The main things that move it are how many panes you have, how many stories, whether screens are involved, and whether there is hard-water staining. Quotes are free, and we can usually give one the same day.
