Solar panel cleaning in Pasadena that actually protects your system.
Dust, pollen, and bird droppings cut into how much power your solar system produces, and Southern California's dry season doesn't wash it off on its own. We clean panels with soft brushes and deionized water, the same mineral-free water we use on windows, so there's no scratching, no streaking, and nothing left behind to bake onto the glass in the sun.

“Great service! I've used this company for window and solar panel cleaning and they did not disappoint!”

Dirty panels lose you money.
Dust, pollen, and bird droppings settle on the glass and sit between the sun and the cells, cutting how much power your system produces. In Southern California the dry season runs for months, so nothing rinses that layer off on its own. It just builds, and in the sun it bakes on.
We have been called out to systems so caked in mud that the panels were visibly blocking sunlight from reaching the cells. Your solar system is a real investment in your home, and keeping it clean is what protects that value.

Soft brushes and deionized water. Never a pressure washer.
The glass gets a soft brush fed with deionized water, the same mineral-free water we use for window cleaning. It scrubs the dust and droppings loose, rinses clean, and dries clear without a wipe-down. We never pressure wash panels: high-pressure water can damage them, so our pressure washing equipment stays on driveways, patios, and house exteriors, where it belongs.
- Deionized water only, the same spot-free finish as our window cleaning
- Soft-brush application, no abrasive tools
- Ground-level and roof-mounted systems
- A water-fed pole reaches across the whole array

No harsh chemicals. No abrasive tools. Nothing left to bake on.
Solar panels are glass sitting in direct sun for years. Tap water leaves mineral spots that bake on and become a permanent haze, exactly what you do not want on the surface that is supposed to be catching sunlight. Deionized water has nothing left in it to leave behind, so the panels dry completely clear.
There are no harsh chemicals in the wash and no abrasive tools on the glass. The bristles are soft, the water does the work, and nothing gets scrubbed hard enough to scratch the coating. It is the careful way to clean a surface you paid a lot for.
What never touches your panels
- A pressure washer. High-pressure water can damage panels, so ours stays on driveways and patios.
- Harsh chemicals. Deionized water has nothing in it to leave behind.
- Abrasive tools. Soft bristles only, and the water does the work.
Every 6 to 12 months, ideally in spring.
Most systems do well on a 6 to 12 month rhythm. The best time is spring, before summer, so the panels go into the months they produce the most already clean instead of carrying a winter's worth of dust through the peak.
It is also an easy add when we are already at your home for window cleaning or gutter cleaning: one visit, the whole house done. And while we are up there, we keep an eye on the roof itself and let you know if anything looks off. Want more than one service? See everything we do.
“We have used Squeegee Clean a number of times to clean our windows and window screens, French doors, and wash our solar panels. Each experience has been very positive. We have a two-story home so it's a big job and is always done professionally. Staff are always friendly, courteous, efficient, and respectful of our property.”

No two systems are the same, so we do not guess from a price list. Tell us a little about yours, how many panels and where they sit, and we will put a real number on it. We can usually give a quote the same day.
Solar panel cleaning questions, answered.
Why do you clean solar panels with deionized water?
Solar panels are glass sitting in direct sun for years. Tap water leaves mineral spots that bake on and become a permanent haze, exactly what you do not want on the surface that is supposed to be catching sunlight. Deionized water has nothing left in it to leave behind, so the panels dry completely clear with no wipe-down that could scratch the coating.
Do you pressure wash solar panels?
Never. High-pressure water can damage panels, so they get soft brushes and deionized water only. We do pressure wash driveways, patios, and house exteriors, but that equipment stays off your panels.
How often should solar panels be cleaned?
Every 6 to 12 months to protect your system's output. The best time is spring, before summer, so the panels go into the months they produce the most already clean. Southern California's dry season does not rinse them for you.
Do you clean ground-mounted and roof-mounted systems?
Both. Ground-level arrays and roof-mounted panels get the same soft brush and deionized water. Tell us where your panels sit when you ask for a quote and we will plan the visit around it.
Can I add solar panel cleaning to a window or gutter visit?
Yes, and it is an easy add. If we are already at your home for window cleaning or gutter cleaning, cleaning the panels on the same visit is simple to arrange. Just mention it when you request a quote.
How is the price worked out?
Every quote is individual and free. Tell us a little about your system, how many panels and whether they sit on the roof or the ground, and we can usually give you a quote the same day.
